Florence as a movie set : Inferno by Ron Howard
Italian me will accompany you in this magical journey, Florence as a movie set, through the places where this film was produced!
Inferno is an upcoming 2016 American mystery thriller directed by Ron Howard and written by David Koepp. This film is based on the 2013 novel of the same name by Dan Brown.
In the premise of the film, Robert Langdon awakens in a hospital room in Florence, Italy, with no memory of what has transpired over the last few days. He suddenly finds himself, once again, the target of a major manhunt. With the help of Dr. Sienna Brooks and his knowledge of symbology, Langdon will try to regain his freedom and lost memories, all while solving the most intricate riddle he’s ever faced.
Filming began in Venice, and continued in Florence. Outdoor scenes featuring Tom Hanks were filmed near Palazzo Vecchio and elsewhere in the historic center of the city. Some second unit stunts were filmed at an apartment building close to Ponte Vecchio.
