ITALIAN THROUGH FOOD & WINE20 lessons per week

Who is the course for?

This is the course that allows you to learn Italian by completely immersing yourself in the wonders of Tuscan and Italian cuisine and enology. We recommend it if cooking and wine are your great passions, or if you simply are curious about the idea of learning the language in a different way, learning how to make fresh pasta and tasting a good wine. It is suitable for students who already have a basic knowledge of the Italian language, starting from the A2 level.

What are the course contents and objectives?

The course will allow you to progress in the study and knowledge of Italian, in the understanding and speaking of the language, and deepen your knowledge of Italian culinary culture.
You will focus on topics related to cooking and enology and, in doing so, you will also work on grammatical and lexical structures.
The language content will be adapted to your language level, from A2 to C2. Culinary experiences will introduce you to both regional traditions and new trends in Tuscan and Italian cuisine and enology.

How is the course organized?

You will have some lessons in class and others in the cooking schools, wine bars, pastry shops and markets of the city.
You will be placed in a group of up to 8 people in a comfortable and relaxing environment. We will provide you with the textbook and all useful materials. The teacher will use an iPad and after each lesson you will receive a pdf with its contents. At the end of the course you will receive a certificate of attendance.
In the afternoon, or during the weekend, if you want, you can participate in our activities, 2 or 3 per week, organized and guided by the teachers in the school. You will make friends with other students, get to know Florence and its surroundings better, wider your knowledge of Italian culture and have fun practicing the Italian language.
