What are the course contents and objectives?
The course will help you improve listening, speaking, reading and writing. You will focus on the practical aspects of language useful in everyday life, developing Italian speaking skills and impro-ving your knowledge of Italian culture.
Italian lessons combine communication and grammar in an ideal combination and, at all levels, you will always use the Italian language in class. Plenty of time will be dedicated to expanding your vo-cabulary in order to speak Italian more fluently. If you are a beginner, you will start learning Italian from the basics and you will see your progress after the very first weeks. If you already have a knowledge of the language, the content will be appropriate to the level of your course, from A1 to C2. To complete each level you will need an average of 8 weeks, but you may need more time for higher levels.
How is the course organized?
You will be placed in a group of up to 8 people in a comfortable and relaxing environment.
It is very likely that some of your classmates will attend the intensive or super-intensive course, so they will stay longer at the school practicing the language. You will finish your class with the first break in the morning and, to keep up with others, you will perhaps need to do a little more work at home. However, this will not be a problem because the teacher will structure the lesson according to the needs of the participants and will always be sure to send you by email the materials used during the lesson.
We will provide you with the textbook and all useful materials. The teacher will use an iPad and af-ter each lesson you will receive a pdf with its contents. At the end of the course you will receive a certificate of attendance.
In the afternoon, or during the weekend, if you want, you can participate in our activities, 2 or 3 per week, organized and guided by the teachers in the school. You will make friends with other stu-dents, get to know Florence and its surroundings better, deepen your knowledge ofvarious aspects of Italian culture and have fun practicing the Italian language.
