The school also organizes private online Italian lessons that allow anyone who intends to come to Italy in the future, or anyone who has already been here and wants to keep or perfect the Italian language, to learn Italian online.

THE ENVIRONMENT
The headquarters of our italianme language school in Florence is in via Tornabuoni 1, one of the most prestigious streets in the historic center. More precisely, we are in the Torre Gianfigliazzi, opposite Palazzo Ferragamo and at a short walk from Ponte Santa Trinita, a corner with a unique atmosphere in the city. The premises of the school are on the third floor (2A floor in the elevator), where we have the reception and 7 classrooms available for our students: a modern and functional furnished environment, equipped with free wifi and air conditioning. Here you will find a familiar and professional space, where our students attend Italian classes in small groups or will have private Italian lessons. Students, under special conditions, have access to the exclusive terrace of the Antica Torre Tornabuoni, with a breathtaking 360 degree view of the city.
Our second headquarters is in Piazza Strozzi 2, in the building called Strozzino. Here we have a large reception and large classrooms where we host the study abroad programms of our international partners. The venue is also used for events and extracurricular activities such as movies or seminars.
THE APPROACH
Our students are the protagonists of the learning path. The goal is to accompany them to discover the Italian language in a natural and pleasant way. The greatest success comes when students tell us that while speaking the Italian language they discover a new part of themselves and day by day the language becomes familiar. The teaching method derives from the most modern theories that emphasize skills in communication. Groups are small; we guarantee a maximum of 8 students. The lessons are carefully built on the needs and skills of the participants in the group. Both in the courses in person and in the online Italian lessons at every level, the Italian teacher uses the Italian language in class and always updated teaching techniques to develop the four basic skills: speaking with an Italian accent, listening and understanding the authentic language, reading and writing in Italian. In addition to the textbook, audiovisual materials are used and the lesson is always supported by the most modern technologies to make the interaction between students and teacher dynamic and the environment friendly and relaxing. Last, but not least, to support the work to be done at home, every day students receive an email in which they find all the lesson developed in the classroom, and they can use the audiovisual materials of the textbook provided by the school.
THE STUDENTS
Our students are of different ages and nationalities. The four nationalities most represented are: American, German, English and Japanese. It is a great pleasure for us to welcome people from all continents. The courses are dedicated to people aged 18 and over and the average age of participants is 35 years old. The age varies according to the year and the types of course chosen. If you choose our courses you can find yourself with people of your own age as well as with younger or older people and we guarantee that this will not be an obstacle, but an opportunity. You will build friendships with people with different stories, a unique and unforgettable experience for a study stay. The reasons why our students study the Italian language are varied: work or study reasons, reasons related to their origins, passion for art, music, cooking, design, fashion or to have a cultural holiday in Italy approaching the Italian identity through the knowledge of the language.
THE STAFF
The teachers are all mother tongue, graduates and specialized in teaching the Italian language as a foreign language. They are constantly updated on modern teaching methods to meet the ever-changing needs and offer a high quality service. One thing that is particularly appreciated about our team, in addition to the professionalism of the teachers, is their ability to listen and build authentic relationships. Moreover, it is the teachers who have conceived and created italianme and who organize the whole management: a group of professionals in this field with thousands of hours of experience in teaching Italian, who work enthusiastically supporting students throughout their studies. We are particularly proud of the welcoming and stimulating environment that the italianme staff has been able to build, indispensable to making our students have positive experiences.
The Staff italianme
The school was officially founded in 2016, although the idea was conceived many years before in the minds of Carmen, Francesca and Nadia, the three founders, who are longtime friends and co-workers.
italianme is the result of their decades of experience in teaching Italian language to foreign students, and the collaboration with an unparalleled group of teachers and partners: a team that represents the true soul of the school and welcomes with enthusiasm and professionalism people in love with Italy from all over the world.
